Roger Hunte

A rather long time ago I fell into the tax profession quite by accident! I subsequently undertook professional tax exams and attained Chartered Tax Advisor status.

My initial experience was in mixed (personal and corporate) roles with a greater emphasis on private client work. A break from the profession working in sports management for two years meant that I gained valuable commercial experience in the construction and execution of commercial contracts.

I thrive on communicating with clients and converting complex tax legislation into easily digestible facts. I currently deal with tax issues ranging from tax compliance through to complex HMRC investigations. An awareness of indirect taxes, namely SDLT and VAT are also within my remit, and I particularly enjoy estate planning and IHT when opportunities arise.

Away from the office, I have a keen interest in tennis and rugby, and dabble in salsa and bachata on the dance floor.
